Make sure the power supply cord is securely connected to the electrical outlet. Make sure the opposite end of the power supply cord is securely connected to the VIEW. Why is the image out of focus?
The most common reason for a blurry or out-of focus image is caused by dust or debris on the camera's protective lens. Clean the protective lens with a non-abrasive lens cleaning towel.
Why is my reading table dim?
Make sure the VIEW red power button is pressed inward and that the power supply is connected. Try turning on and off the VIEW twice.
Why is my reading table not moving smoothly?
If you can't move the table at all check to see if there is a small object obstructing the reading tables movement. If you are able to move the table, gradually make the circular motion larger.
How long should I charge the battery?
The Battery needs approximately 3 hours to recharge.
Why is my image appearing dim on screen?
Adjust the brightness control to darken or lighten the image.
Why is my monitor not moving smoothly?
Try slowly moving the monitor downward and upward.
What does the mode control do?
The mode button changes how the image appears on screen. The mode knob is designed to cycle through different polarities and false colors to create greater contrast on screen.
Will I ever need to replace the light bulbs?
The VIEW uses LED (Light Emitting Diodes) for its lighting source. LED's are highly energy effecient and rated for over 150,000 hours of usage. LifeTime warranty on LED lighting.
What type of preventative maintenance should I do?
The VIEW is designed to be maintenance free and does not require a preventative maintenance program to sustain longterm operation. We have products in successful operation today, that have not undergone any maintenance.
Should I leave my VIEW on all day?
You can leave the VIEW on for as long as you use it. Avoid, leaving the VIEW on and unattended.
How does the battery charge?
The VIEW has an optional battery charger. Connect the battery charger to the electrical outlet. Make sure the opposite end of the battery charger is securely connected to the battery. Allow 3 hours for charging.
Can I use the VIEW without the battery?
Yes. The VIEW comes with a power supply that can be connected to a power outlet. Using the VIEW this way will power the VIEW and also recharge with battery at the same time.
Can I carry the VIEW with the green handle?
No. The green handle is for locking and unlocking the table cover. The green handle is not designed to support the weight of the VIEW.
